The role
The person who builds the tools the trade runs on.
Reporting to the operations lead, working directly with the people who use what you build. Remote, full-time, with hours overlapping Brazilian business time.
What you will do
- 01 Build and maintain the public website and the quotation form, in a static stack that stays fast on African mobile networks.
- 02 Turn the spreadsheets operations currently live in into simple internal views for shipment status and documents.
- 03 Wire up the integrations that save manual work — form delivery, WhatsApp links, carrier and rate data where it exists.
- 04 Keep the site multilingual as we add Portuguese and French, without duplicating content by hand.
- 05 Sit with the people using the tools, watch where they get stuck, and fix that rather than what looks interesting.
- 06 Write things down so the next person can pick them up.
What we are looking for
- One or two years writing code, professionally or on projects you can show us.
- Solid HTML, CSS and JavaScript. You understand the web before the framework.
- Willing to work in a small team with no one to hand a half-finished problem to.
- English for the codebase and the team. Portuguese is a strong advantage.
- Clear written communication — most of this job is writing to people in other time zones.
Helpful, not required
- A static site generator such as Astro, Eleventy or Next.
- Experience with git-backed CMS tooling or content collections.
- Any exposure to logistics, ERP or trade software.
- Having shipped something small that real people used.
How we hire
A first call within a week of applying, then a working conversation around a real shipment scenario, then a decision. Three steps, no unpaid assignments.
Apply
Send us the essentials.
Six fields and a CV. A cover letter is optional — we would rather read two honest sentences about something you built and what broke.
Not this role, but interested?
We keep speculative applications on file and come back to them first when something opens.
